Nowadays, it's easy to find material on caring for natural hair, but this hasn't always been the case. Diane Bailey (pictured, right) knows, as she authored several books on braiding and caring for naturally textured hair well before the current wave began. She's a natural hair expert, educator, consultant and avid advocate for not succumbing to chemical straighteners.
What a treat to interview her! She provided a ton of information on children's hair care (including a "Mommy and Me" workshop that sounds invaluable to parents and caregivers who are frustrated) and great product recommendations on a line that I'll be reviewing here very soon.
