Recap: Black Hair at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards

The annual NAACP Image Awards aired this past Friday night, just one of several special events going on this time of year.

Taking a look at the various hairstyles from the occasion, there were several channeling the current asymmetrical trend going on, but unlike the Salt-N-Pepa asymmetry of the 80s, the current look calls for longer lengths, as seen on Rutina Wesley (pictured). Other 'dos ranged from elegant to whimsical, as you can see in this year's roundup of Black Hair at the 2013 Image Awards.
